TANNING INFORMATION

SHOW TAN (£75) – FULL PACKAGE

This is the RECOMMENDED package which ensures that your tan is at it’s best. This package includes a Pre-Show coat that will take place the day before the show. The location and time of your appointment will be sent to you the week before the show.

Your second appointment will take place at the Show Day venue on show day where you will get your second coat. This will then be followed by being glazed by the tanning team before you step on stage.

TOP UP COAT (£50) – ONLY ON SHOW DAY

This package is only recommended if you have competed the day before. It is important you follow key instructions to ensure you skin has settled for its top up coat the following day. You will be sent instructions to follow should you be using this option. Please note that it is the responsibility of the athlete to ensure the instructions are followed through.

On Show Day you will get your top up coat tan where you will be sent your appointment time the week of the show. You will also have your glazing done before you step on stage.

UPGRADE (£20) – CHANGE TO FULL PACKAGE

If you have made a mistake or you wish to change to the Full Package, you are able to select the upgrade option and make the £20 payment.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW

On the day of your show exfoliate. Do not use any creams, moisturisers, perfumes, deodorants or any other form of skin preparation after exfoliating.

Only shave the day before show day. NOT on show day.

Hair removal creams or waxing should be done at least a week or longer.

Wear loose clothing when getting tanned.

We recommend to wear flip-flops after your tan has been applied.

For best results we need you to be wearing as little as possible. We provide tanning socks for men.

Remove contact lenses before your tan.

Apply clear nail varnish to fingernails and toenails to prevent the tan staining nails. Tan will not stain nail varnish.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ

All Spray tans contain Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) which is derived from sugar cane. It reacts with the amino acids in the top layer of your skin causing your skin to gradually darken over a few hours. The percentage of DHA in the product determines the colour (higher % darker the colour.) Most spray tans also contain a bronzer which gives you an immediate colour. The bronzer will wash off but the colour from the skin reaction to the DHA will remain. The tans we use contains a unique bronzer, which gives a perfect competition colour for your show and also contains DHA so your skin will gradually darken over the course of the day leaving you with a lasting tan even after you have showered.
